Hi, I'm Tam. I look after Darwin's lawns.
Frillneck Lawns & Gardens is a two-person crew based in Nightcliff, mowing Top End lawns since 2019.
From one mower to a full round
I started Frillneck with a second-hand mower and a borrowed trailer, after a few years on a parks crew. Turns out plenty of people want their yard looked after properly, without having to chase anyone.
These days it's me and Jordan, five days a week, mostly regular mows around the northern suburbs and Palmerston. We know which yards go soggy in the wet, which dogs need to go inside, and who likes their edges extra sharp.
The name? A frill-necked lizard used to watch us from the fence at one of our first regular jobs. It stuck.

How we work
Straight-up prices
Regular mows are a fixed price per visit. Bigger jobs get a written quote first.
Tidy finish
Edges trimmed, paths blown clean, gates shut behind us.

Insured and above board

- Trained in safe chemical use for weed spraying
- Green waste disposed of properly at the tip, never dumped
